New CD Album to be released May/June 2003 on iris LIGHT records!

The third compilation album on Iris Light Records, "The Abduction Of The Art Of Noise" is a collection of some of the most influential and ingenius electronic artists covering the music of the legendary Art Of Noise.

Formed in the early 80's by Anne Dudley, J.J. Jeczalik, Paul Morley, Trevor Horn and Gary Langam, they released 12 albums including two "best of's" and one remix album. They provided music for numerous TV and Film soundtracks and had some chart success with tracks like Close (to the Edit), Paranomia and Kiss (with Tom Jones).

With contributions from Si-Cut.db, Scanner, Chi2 (who have worked with Moby and KLF/Orb), David Toop and Goldfrapp, this is a reverential take on this bands finest moments, and even includes a cover by original member J.J. Jeczalik.

"The Abduction Of The Art Of Noise" was put together in collaboration with Ian Peel and Karvavena Records- who has worked with The The and DJ Liquid - writer of the book "The Unknown Paul Macartney".

Philip Marshall (of Billie Ray Martin fame) is producing the graphics and design for Abductions's 6-panel, full colour, CD digipack.
